We Are Diageo Turkey

We, as the representative of a global community of more than 30,000 employees in 180 countries throughout the world, “celebrate the life everywhere every day!” together with our passionate team.

As the present representative of a tradition which has started upon the monopoly administration in 1862, and which continues with Tekel, we renew the legacy of the past, and we hand it down the next generations. Our successes continue exponentially along with the power and experience that Diageo has brought to us in the international arena.

So Who We Are Really?

Mey Icki has been incorporated in 2004 upon the privatization of the alcoholic beverages department of Tekel. Since 2011, we have been operating under the umbrella of Diageo, the alcoholic beverage producer trading in approximately 180 countries with regional offices in 80 countries, and we have become “Mey|Diageo”, our current name. We continue to operate in Turkey as two separate companies, one for production and the other for sales and marketing.

  • We are the present representative of the legacy, dating back to the General Directorate of Monopolies that was established in 1862.
  • We are a company that is engaged in viticulture on its own land and holds a farming license.
  • We have been the export champion in our field for years.
  • We are Mey|Diageo, which combine the talents of its employees and the power of its brands, and which take firm steps forward with more than 2,000 employees, distributors and sales teams!

We want to build an ecosystem, which offers international service, quality and experience, and in which the women play important roles, and in which the gender equality is achieved.
